Had a terrible experience here over the Australia Day weekend.The place was very quiet and there was no need for bad attitude coupled with burnt coffee. Should have had a Nescafe and stayed at home
Absolutely horrendous, in-personable service. A simple apology would have sufficed for your rudeness rather than more attitude.If you are passing through Metung do no waste your time here. There are other great options in the area - Smiling Chef & Effloresce both do great coffee & food.
Extremely Rude staff. We went for breakfast on the 20/01/19 and were told to wait while they clean and set up which wasnt a issue but then the guy who was cleaning turns around and says it in a very rude manner and with a attitude HOW ABOUT I CLEAN FIRST AND THEN YOU GET YOUR TABLE. I actually couldnt believe someone can talk to their customers in such a rude manner. How about you get out of customer service or learn how to talk to the customers first. We walked out after being abused and went next door to The Smiling Chef Cafe where both service and food was fantastic. I wouldnt advise anyone to pay money to that sort of behaviour.
As always this place serves delicious food. We had the salt and pepper squid, eye fillet steak, Moroccan chicken, plus dessert was a chocolate walnut pavlova meringue cake. Absolutely heavenly.Service was excellent considering there was only one waitress. The restaurant is small and you do need to book to reserve a table, however it can get a little loud with all the guests in there.Will definitely visit again, and will try breakfast for a change!
Good food, friendly service. Coffee was delicious. Would need just a touch more to deserve 5 stars. But definitely a great choice for brekkie in Metung.
